Quartz Composite Stone

There are over 300 images of different Quartz colours and patterns available to choose from on our website and approximately another 300 Quartz sample colours available to choose from in our showroom by 14 different suppliers and manufacturers. Each supplier charges different prices for their Quartz, the plain patterns and the Mirror sparkle Quartz colours were introduced to the open market at the very beginning when Quartz first came to market, being so popular and the easiest to manufacture production runs were increased and in turn production costs came down making them the cheapest available. The Manufacturers then found that there was a high demand for a Marble look, Marble effect patterns are more difficult to make and are more individual in style and pattern from one batch to another and therefore commands a higher price but this has come down over the years as it has now become the most popular choice, the Calacatta Marble pattern Quartz are the most expensive especially if they have the gold colour in the pattern.

When we constructed this website all the images you can see of Quartz were available and in stock, but if you were to order the same Quartz today the same stone will now be different as they are manufactured in batch runs of 1000 slabs and then distributed all over the world and the next batch runs will continue to be manufactured at different times, so there will always be batch variations. No two batch runs are identical, there will be batch differences such as shade of colour, design pattern and density of the pattern. Images and photos are not a true 100% representation of the physical appearance of the actual stone. Quartz samples we show you are just to give you some idea and indication to how the stone can look, but are NEVER identical.

Quartz slabs are created through a factory process. Composition of Quartz is made up of 92-95 percent ground natural quartz with 5-8 percent polymer resin. The manufacturers are now using other production methods to reduce the amount of Quartz but still maintain its Qualities. Quartz surfaces are highly stain and scratch resistant and made to almost any conceivable colour and design. Quartz is a superb, hard-wearing stone ideal for any home project. Quartz surfaces are very low maintenance due to their zero bacteria characteristics. We will provide you with Care and Maintenance Instructions with every order for you to follow and use as guidelines to keep them in good order and achieve this.

Global Quartz Surfaces are 93% pure natural quartz and 7% other chemical substances. The debonair appearance provides the feel of natural stone but with an unbeatable quality and panache. Each of Global’s Quartz Surfaces, is non-porous, homogenous and highly durable. It is resistant to scratches, stains and is virtually maintenance free.

Quartz is manufactured using finest quality unleaded colorants which ensure homogeneity and evenness in colour. The secret behind Quartz Surface groundbreaking material strength and its beauty lies in high-purity quartz, a binding polymer. Quartz makes it possible to create anything from beautiful kitchen worktops to the modern flooring and cladding. The surface can be structured with the endless possibility of adding variety of customized aesthetic elements like recycled glass or mirror chips, siliceous metal, pearls, etc giving a Quartz Surface an urbane and matchless visual appearance.
