Granite Images and actual Samples
The Granite images you will see on our website have been taken by our suppliers current Granite stock so if you are to visit the supplier today the Granite slabs will be a different batch so there will be differences when comparing them to the images you see on our website such as colour shade, pattern and density of pattern. No two different batches of Granite or Quartz will be identical. Images and photos are not a true representation of the physical appearance of the actual stone. Granite and Quartz images and samples we show you are just to give you some idea and indication to how the stone can look, but are NEVER identical. No two batches are 100% identical. If you will require more than two slabs for your kitchen worktops we will ensure all the slabs we order will be from the same batch.
The consistent pattern Granites like: Star Galaxy, Black Absolute Silver Galaxy, Black Pearl Tan Brown, Baltic Brown, Black Pearl, Steel Grey can be more similar but any natural stone which has pattern can vary a great deal as it all depends on the origin of the stone, the location it was extracted, the time it was extracted, batch numbers being different. If you decide to choose Granite then we will always advise you to visit one of our suppliers so that you can see the stone which is available for your worktops. Once it arrives at our factory, we will call you to visit our factory to make sure the stone you saw is the same one as what has been delivered, as once we have cut this stone it will be too late. The Granite or Quartz stone worktops you will receive from us will not be identical to the physical samples or images you see at our showroom or website.
The price for Granite is usually based on the meter square price and is not normally on the cost of the whole slab unless you require a one-off bespoke piece and we have not got an off cut of the material in stock to do this for you. Not all Granite colours are the same price, the price of Granite is determined by rarity, how fragile the Granite is to work with, where the Granite comes from in the world, production costs to cut the block to the ordered thickness and to polish the face of the slab and then to transport the finished sab to the wholesalers around the world who then sell it to the fabricators. The exotic pattern Granites from Brazil can command the highest prices as well as demand and supply.
